
CLICKS’s CEO Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou participated at a high level regional forum on the Integration of ICTs in Higher Education Systems of Arab States which was jointly organized by the UNESCO Office in Beirut and the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Beirut from the 7th -8th of November, 2016.
The Forum which was attended by representatives of Ministries of Higher Education of more than 10 Arab States, as well as representatives from Higher Education and NGOs active in the field aimed at providing clarification related to the integration of ICTs in Higher Education including considering current initiatives and experiences taking place. The Forum involved across the two days keynote speakers intervention and seven different panels addressing different themes including
Dr. Hadj-Hamou who chaired the panel on ICT to Enhance Access and Inclusiveness; also had a presentation on Quality and QA in Technology Enabled Education where she has shared insights on how quality is improving higher education today not only in regards to widening access and improving teaching and learning practice but also in relation to the support of knowledge development and dissemination; improving the administration of HE as well as creating a more relevant and responsive student experience. In her presentation she has also spoken about the landscape of QA in Technology Enhanced Education and shared with participants various quality models and practices at both micro and macro level. She has concluded her speech by addressing some of the challenges and suggesting few recommendations.
