Senior Educational Technologist

Dr. Randa Mikati is one of the most prominent associates of CLICKS and has, over the years, been actively engaged in the delivery of numerous online and in-person workshops, certificate programs, and professional development initiatives in areas related to educational technology, including, most recently, Generative AI in education. She is highly rated by participating institutions and professionals and is widely recognized for her practical, hands-on, and highly engaging approach to training and facilitation.

Randa holds an Honours Degree in Computer Science from McMaster University and a master’s degree in educational technology from University of Balamand. She has also been an International Society for Technology in Education Certified Educator since 2021.

Her journey in education began in 2013, when she started teaching educational technology courses across various higher education and vocational institutions in Lebanon.

Throughout her career, Randa has coordinated and facilitated numerous professional development programs covering topics such as online teaching methodologies, interactive online content development, gamification, advanced PowerPoint techniques for educators, and, notably, Artificial Intelligence for Educators. Following the emergence of ChatGPT in November 2022, she actively designed and delivered multiple cohorts of AI-focused programs for educators, enabling participants to better understand, critically evaluate, and effectively integrate AI tools within their teaching and learning practices.

Randa remains committed to staying at the forefront of AI and educational innovation through continuous professional learning and engagement. Her recent professional development activities include completing the ISTE course “Artificial Intelligence Explorations and Their Practical Use in Schools,” further strengthening her expertise in the practical and pedagogical integration of AI in educational settings.
