
An MoU was recently signed by the Center for Learning Innovation and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS) and l’ Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (Direction régionale Moyen-Orient) with its headquarters based on Montreal (Quebec), Canda.
Under the MoU both parties will mutually collaborate to promote capacity building for the Higher Education sector in areas of mutual interest and primarily related to quality assurance, leadership development, research and governance. This will include organizing joint conferences, workshops, training programs and seminars, promoting the transfer of ‘good practices’ between different institutions and countries and engaging in joint publications. Such programs will be available to members of the AUF- Moyent Orient and the wider community.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Herve Sabourin, Directeur régional at l’ Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie and Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou, Founder and CEO of CLICKS
In this context Mr. Sabourin said : “ The Middle East regional Directorate of Agence universitaire de la Francophonie has been engaged for several years in the support of its member universities to reinforce their quality assurance policies. It is in this context that AUF is pleased to sign a cooperation agreement with the Center for Learning Innovations & Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS) which will allow both institutions to join together their expertise and skills in order to develop concrete awareness and training activities on the quality approach, leadership and governance, and thus help strengthen the capacities of universities in the region.”
Dr. Hadj-Hamou, Founder and CEO of CLICKS further shared “we are delighted to join forces with AUF to promote quality and capacity building in areas which are core to the success and sustainability of higher edcuation institutions today. We look forward to jointly planning a rich potfolio of activities that will respond to the pressing needs of universities that are members of the AUF and beyond.“
