MOU Signing between CLICKS and Réseau Figure®

The Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Réseau Figure® based in France to foster mutual understanding and support in relation to research, training, transfer of best practices and internationalization in areas of common interest.

The MoU also aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties, to leverage new innovative ideas and transfer know how, best practices and experiences between the two sides in areas related to quality, leadership, governance, digital transformation and curriculum design among others. The MoU also calls for strengthening cooperation through mutually promoting each parties’ offerings, organizing joint workshops, webinars, conferences and other networking events and cooperating in internationalization projects which support the common objectives of both parties.

The MoU was signed in a virtual ceremony by Prof. Lamine Boubakar, President of Réseau Figure and Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou representing CLICKS as its CEO and was attended by Mr. Herve Sabourin, Director for Strategic Projects at Réseau Figure®
In that context Prof. Lamine Boubakar shared: “the “Reseau FIGURE” is particularly pleased to sign today a MOU with CLICKS opening to a very fruitful collaboration between both institutions for the benefit of French, Middle-East and North-Africa universities.”
Dr. Hadj-Hamou shared: ‘’we are excited to enter into this new partnership and look forward to collaboratively develop our action plan to activate this MoU, we believe that there are many opportunities in particular when it comes to quality assurance, innovative pedagogies and developing pioneering thinking around the impact of digital transformation on the HE education sector post the pandemic where we may benefit from each other’s’ expertise and network.’’

The Figure network “Formation à l’ingénierie par des Universités de Recherche” (Engineering Education by Research Universities), is a non-for profit international network of autonomous universities offering engineering programs. The network of more than 30 universities was established in 2011 as a result of the IDEFI call for projects and is continuously growing to include new geographies and institutions. The network has three broad objectives which align with CLICKS’ strategic priorities which include: (1) developing innovative engineering training programmes at universities, in close relation with the socio-professional world as well as research and innovation centres, (2) support the implementation of quality assurance and accreditation processes of the institutions which organise these programmes in France and abroad and (3) establish European and international partnerships
