CLICKS’s Founder and CEO Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou Honored by Bahrain’s Minister of Education

CLICKS’s Founder and CEO Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou has been honored by HE Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Bahrain’s Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, and Prof. Khalid M. Al Khalifa, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University College of Bahrain. This recognition was awarded during the International Conference on Business and Innovative Technology (ICBIT), held by the University College of Bahrain on May 29-30, 2024.

Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou joined a distinguished lineup of international speakers at the conference, which gathered stakeholders from academia, industry, and government to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in innovative technology. The event provided a dynamic platform for exploring the impact of innovation and technology across various sectors.

As a panelist on “Digital Transformation: Strategies for Success in the Era of Innovative Technologies,” Dr. Hadj-Hamou emphasized the critical role of cultural change in the digital transformation journey within higher education. She highlighted key leadership strategies that educational leaders can adopt to foster a digital-first mindset among faculty, staff, and students. These strategies include articulating a clear vision and roadmap for digital transformation, ensuring leadership support and commitment, establishing structures and systems, enabling policies, creating a culture of learning, engaging stakeholders, and forming smart partnerships.

Dr. Hadj-Hamou also addressed the rapid pace of technological advancement and shared insights on how higher education institutions can continuously innovate in their teaching and administrative practices without being overwhelmed by emerging technologies.

Joining Dr. Hadj-Hamou on the panel were esteemed professionals from various industries, including representatives from Tamkeen, Zein Telecommunications, and PwC, who shared their extensive expertise on digital transformation.
