CLICKS CEO Meets with Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education to Explore Strategic Collaborations

In a significant step toward fostering international cooperation in higher education, Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou, Founder and CEO of the Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS), met with H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt, during her recent visit to Cairo.

The meeting focused on discussing strategic partnerships and initiatives to support Egypt’s higher education sector. Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou shared insights on CLICKS’ expertise in strategy development, governance, quality assurance, the student experience, teaching and learning, and digital transformation, illustrating how these areas could be of interest and potentially contribute to Egypt’s educational goals. Following this, ideas were exchanged on advancing institutional capacity, fostering innovation, and enhancing student employability to meet the evolving needs of the 21st century workforce.

The conversation also addressed the importance of building regional partnerships and sharing best practices to tackle common challenges in higher education, particularly in the areas of innovative teaching practices, student employability and digital transformation. Dr. Hadj-Hamou and H.E. Dr. Ashour explored potential collaborations to support the Ministry’s current efforts in capacity building across Egypt’s universities.
