Dubai, UAE – October 12, 2024

Quality Matters (QM), a global leader in quality assurance for online education, and the Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS), a specialized boutique consultancy and training provider serving the higher education sector across more than 12 countries since 2012, are pleased to announce the signing of a strategic partnership aimed at advancing excellence in online and blended learning throughout the Arab region.

The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by Dr. Deborah Adair, CEO of Quality Matters, and Dr. Narimane Hadj Hamou, CEO of CLICKS, seeks to enhance digital learning quality through joint efforts in faculty development, course design, and quality assurance.

This partnership brings together QM’s internationally recognized standards for course design and peer review with CLICKS’s deep expertise in promoting innovative learning and teaching within higher education. CLICKS has been a regional leader in capacity building and consultancy, particularly in guiding institutions to adopt new teaching strategies, meaningfully integrate technology into teaching and learning, rethink assessment practices, and strengthen quality assurance and enhancement processes.

The collaboration will focus on organizing joint events, offering professional development opportunities, enhancing the quality and certification of online and blended learning provision, and sharing best practices across the region to foster high-quality digital learning environments.

Quality Matters is pleased to be collaborating with CLICKS,” said Deb Adair, QM CEO, “as we work together to advocate for quality assurance, standards of quality, best practice, and robust course review processes in the MENA region. The expertise of CLICKS complements that of QM and our relationship should prove beneficial to higher education institutions in the region.”

Dr. Narimane Hadj Hamou, CEO of CLICKS, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating: “This collaboration with Quality Matters is crucial in supporting CLICKS to further its mission of empowering institutions in the region to excel in online and blended education. By combining our expertise in digital transformation, teaching innovation, and quality assurance, we can provide comprehensive support to universities looking to strengthen their capacity for delivering high-quality, impactful education. We believe this partnership will significantly contribute to the advancement of higher education across the Arab world and beyond.”
