The CEO of the Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions has contributed through an opening keynote address on Saturday 4the of December to the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Alumni conference organized in Jordan & online under the theme “ Digital higher education in Jordan, Iraq & Lebanon: institutional strategies, good practices, and future perspectives “.
In her contribution, Dr. Narimane has shared insights about the digital higher education landscape in the Arab world both prior and during COVID-19 and highlighted some of the key challenges both short and long term the region has been facing during the transition to online learning and which impeded in the future the wider embracement of digital transformation. She has also presented an overview of strategic and operational strategies that must be considered to move forward as the sector prepared for the future post the pandemic.
The conference was attended by participants in Jordan as well as online and involved H.E. Prof. Dr. Mamoun Al-Debie, Secretary General, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan; Mrs. Leonie Lorenz, Cultural Attaché, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Jordan as well as representatives from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), higher education institution in the region and alumni.
