Dr. Abeer Naajem AlRasbi is currently the Director of Student Leadership Department at Zayed University. Her key responsibility is to oversee various projects, programs, and initiatives that are related to Student Affairs focusing on student leadership development, student organizations, fitness and sports, career development, as well as facilitating community engagement opportunities in volunteering for students to participate in across the UAE with around 20 years of career experiences in Higher Education.

Dr. Abeer completed her PhD in Educational Leadership from The British University in Dubai and her Master degree in Quality Services Management from University of Wollongong inDubai.

She is a certified Coach, Trainer, and Motivational Speaker from John Maxwell Leadership Academy in Leadership Development, Personal Growth, Communication, and Career Development providing continues training and coaching support to individuals and organizations in different areas.

Dr. Abeer has around 24 years of career experiences. Prior to joining Zayed University, she was an Assistant Professor at Rabdan Academy teaching management, leadership, and organizational behavior. Prior to that she worked for 11 years with Higher Colleges of Technology in different departments: Student Affairs, Assistant Professor – Business Administration teaching management, leadership, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, research methods, and cross culture management. She also was a Program Chair for 4 years overseeing the college of Business involved in curriculum and program designing, accreditations, as well as academic administrative. She started her career with Banking services for 6 years between RAK Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank (formerly First Gulf Bank) and National Bank of Umm Al Quwain.
