As we are starting a new academic year with the world and the Higher Education Sector continuing to rapidly evolve due to the COVID-19 pandemic spread; CLICKS is delighted to announce that it will continue its humble efforts to support the sector in these difficult times of uncertainty by redefining the ways it delivers services and offerings, capitalizing on the use of technologies and launching an expanded range of programs, webinars and services based on the identified needs of its various stakeholders.
CLICKS has in the past few months shifted many of its offerings online including a large portion of its consultancy services which it is today equipped to fully deliver online. These include consultancy services in the areas of quality assurance (i.e. maturity assessment, external quality audits, development of IQAs Systems, etc.) and accreditation, policy development, organizational redesign and innovative learning and teaching.
In addition, the center has leveraged on its expertise in online and blended learning to work closely with the sector and HEIs on helping them articulate strategies and plans to transition to meaningful online and blended learning and articulate relevant policies and QA frameworks to monitor the quality of their online courses, programs and overall online/ blended learning experiences.
Throughout the past five months the center has expanded its capacity and professional development programs in the field of online and blended learning and planned and delivered a large range of structured webinars, online courses and programs (delivered using a blend of synchronous and asynchronous learning) to help institutions navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic and plan for the new normal.
More than 4000 members of the HE Community from 36 countries and 157 institutions have benefited from CLICKS public and in-house program and the center has been privileged to expand in many new geographies.
CLICKS also worked recently on enlarging its portfolio of online capacity building programs across its five core areas of expertise– As of Fall semester; the center will be offering several online courses and programs across all its areas of expertise. CLICKS will also deliver in-house face to face (when possible) programs in accordance to its portfolio: https://cli-cks.com/request-an-in-house-capacity-building-program/ and https://cli-cks.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/In-House_Tailored_Webinars.pdf
Furthermore, due to the increasing demand from members of its community, the Center during this academic year will continue to run its series of free virtual panel discussions” In Conversation with CLICKS” bringing in some of the world’s experts and leaders in higher education to address themes of common interest to our community both regionally and globally.
In addition, the Center will continue to engage in publishing guidelines, articles and other resources supporting the transition to online learning and will be soon starting its “Ask an Expert” session on the Voice of Higher Education Facebook Group.
At the current time, the Center is not planning to run its winter leadership institute in January due to travelling instability and will limit its international activities demanding travelling while continuing to closely monitor the situation.
