Vice-Rector for Internationalisation at CEU San Pablo University (Madrid, Spain)

Professor Ainhoa Uribe is the Vice-Rector for Internationalisation at CEU San Pablo University (Madrid, Spain). She is a Senior Lecturer of Political Science and the Academic Coordinator of the dual degree in Law & Politics. Previously, she was the Academic Secretary of the Research Institute of Democratic Studies at CEU San Pablo University and the Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Students at the Faculty of Law. At CEU Educational Group, she also worked as professor at CEU Cardenal Herrera University (Valencia, Spain), where she was Deputy Dean in Political Science.

She was an Academic Visitor at Oxford University and Georgetown University and a Visiting Professor at the University of Helsinki.

She holds a PhD in Law by Complutense University (Madrid) and a PhD in European Studies by CEU Cardenal Herrera University (Valencia). She has a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of the Basque Country. She also holds a European Master in International Humanitarian Aid from Deusto University (with the specialisation in “Conflict resolution and peace building” at Uppsala University) and a Master in Gender and Equal Opportunities (CEU Cardenal Herrera University). She completed her studies with several courses on international relations, globalisation and comparative politics at Kingston University, Aix-Marseille University, American University of Beirut and Sarajevo University.

She has been working on research projects mainly relating to the political rights of vulnerable groups, democracy, elections and comparative politics.
