DR. MARK H. ROSSMAN

Dr. Mark H. Rossman is Professor Emeritus at Capella University. He has also served as Senior Faculty, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Associate Vice President for Residencies. While VPAA at Capella University, he led the team that produced the institutional self-study ultimately leading to full accreditiation from the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. He has served as an accreditation evaluator with two other Regional accreditation associations in the United States. He has held administrative and/or faculty positions at Walden University, Nova Southeastern University, Ottawa University, Aizona State University, and the University of Massachusetts. He has authored, co-authored or produced 9 books, 43 chapters or articles, 10 evaluative reports, 1 film, 9 self-contained instructional modules, and 2 audio/visual tape curriculum units and has made 91 presentations in 15 states and 12 foreign countries. He has served on editorial boards of five refereed journals and has submitted 30 proposals to 19 different funding sources of which 20 have been funded. He has served as major advisor for 80+ M.A., 43 Ed.D. and 60 Ph.D. graduates. He has developed 24 different courses and has taught full or part time at 8 universities. His areas of expertise are adult learning, teaching and program development, postsecondary education, and e-learning teaching and learning. These are also areas within which he has served as a consultant and has provided faculty development.
