I am a Professor in the Medical Education Department. I am commissioned as the Dean’s consultant in Curricular Affairs. I founded and am heading the Quality and Academic Accreditation Unit. I earned my Master & Doctoral Degrees in Clinical Toxicology & Forensic Medicine from Cairo University and fulfilled my academic continuum to Professorship. I earned a Master degree in HPE from Maastricht & Suez Canal Universities; followed by fellowship from Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education & Research (FAIMER)- Philadelphia. In 2017, I was assigned to be a consultant for Deanship of QAA in the Vice Presidency of Quality & Development. With my team we led a successful accreditation process in Faculty of Medicine in KAU which was crowned by earning full accreditation for seven years. In 2018, I was commissioned to become a trainer in NCAAA- EEC in KSA. I established and am a consultant in Assessment Unit. I am also consultant in Main Assessment Committee and put its policies. In 2016, I was assigned as a reviewer in Medical Teacher (SS) & Medical Education Online Journals. I hold a variety of annual workshops in medical education and research. I participated as designer and moderator of many online courses via FAIMER Institute. I gained experience in QAA of HPE when assigned as an EMRO/WHO T. adviser. In 2008, I participated in the task force for matching NAQAAE standards to the WFME Global Standards. I set strategies for faculty development based on international ASPIRE criteria for Excellence in Faculty Development. I published eleven articles in Medical Education in the period between 2013 and 2017 & supervised seven ME Master degree theses.
