Passionate about driving entrepreneurship, innovation, and quality in higher education and industry, Hani brings over 30 years of international professional experience across the USA, Canada, UAE, and Lebanon. His profile combines academic expertise, strategic leadership, technical depth, and extensive training and facilitation experience.

Hani holds a PhD in Management and Entrepreneurship with research focused on “The Perceived Impact of Entrepreneurship Education on the Journey of Student Entrepreneurs in Lebanon,” examining how entrepreneurship education shapes entrepreneurial mindset, competencies, and startup pathways among students. He also holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science, along with professional certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Certified Training (PCT®), and Certified Assessment Specialist in higher education. As a committed lifelong learner, he has completed several specialized programs, including Train the Trainer-Accompaniment of Student Entrepreneurs by AUF and Teaching Entrepreneurial Mindset by Babson College.

Since 2012, Hani has played an active role in both higher education and professional training in Lebanon through leadership positions such as Director of Shared Services, Director of ADC Training Center, Director of Lebanon Science and Technology Park, and Director of Quality Assurance and University Entrepreneurship Center. Alongside his leadership responsibilities, Hani has been teaching entrepreneurship courses, facilitating faculty capacity-building workshops, and delivering numerous seminars, workshops, and experiential learning activities focused on entrepreneurial mindset development, innovation, design thinking, and startup readiness skills. Coaching and mentoring the next generation of student entrepreneurs remains at the core of his professional passion.

Hani is also the co-founder of MaharaTech, an EdTech startup company providing customized training and consultancy services that help educators effectively integrate technology— particularly AI—into their teaching and training practices. Before his academic and entrepreneurship-focused career, Hani held senior leadership and technical roles across multiple sectors, including air travel, telecommunications, and e-Government, where he successfully managed complex projects and multidisciplinary teams in positions such as Technical Design Architect, senior Software Development Manager, and senior Systems Implementation Manager.
