Dr. Julie Furst-Bowe, USA

Dr. Julie Furst-Bowe is a higher education consultant with more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in colleges and universities in the United States. She has served as a vice president, provost, and chancellor at three institutions. In addition, Dr. Furst-Bowe is an international expert in academic accreditation and quality improvement. She serves as a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission, a senior examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, and as an assessor for the Government Excellence Program in the United Arab Emirates.
For the past 20 years, Dr. Furst-Bowe has been writing, speaking, and consulting on the topic of performance improvement in higher education to audiences around the globe. She has edited two books and authored numerous articles on this topic. She currently teaches graduate courses in career and technical education leadership at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, the first and only university to receive the Baldrige Award. Julie received her doctorate in education from the University of Minnesota and has been recognized with fellow status from the American Society for Quality.
